I'm not sure if this is something I can fix, even in my planned future rework of parallax. The issue is that the position of the planet changes based on your camera position, and doesn't take into account the remote view preview. When you click somewhere else, the planet moves due to parallax and it's no longer under the ship.
I'll look into a fix for this, somehow treating remote view as a new character maybe, but I imagine this won't be fixable. You could just turn off parallax in settings, but I'm aware that's not really a solution.
