g [FIXED] angels galore not found?

i tried running this mod, it tells me to install angels galore mod but i cant find it anywhere....

It should be fixed now, although it will still error when playing with Angel's bioprocessing. I will release Angel's Galore moderately soon. Thanks for the bugreport :D

Are you playing with all 4 angels mods or just refining btw? I would prefer to keep it like this, but if this didn't fix it for you, I can also disable the error entirely for now)

i dont use bioprocessing and it still gave out an error, ill just wait patiently for angels galore

Angel's Galore is out already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll look into the error behavior though, as Angel's Galore galore-policy(?) is kinda different than the other Galore entries. (Info on the modpage)

Thanks for playing (in advance), feedback is appreciated :D

so i tried to run angels galore, and it gave me this:

Failed to load mods: vanilla_galore_continued/data.lua:1: attempt to index field 'throw' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
vanilla_galore_continued/data.lua:1: in main chunk

i tested it out and found its not the angels galores fault or space age galore, its vanilla galore thats causing this. i updated to 1.3.9.

Are you running the latest version of GaloreLib?

so i checked and no i wasnt running the latest version of galorelib

so i updated, checked all three galore+lib mods (space age+angels) and got this:

Failed to load mods: galore_lib/lib/throw.lua:59:

[PLEASE READ]
Install or enable "Angel's+Space Age Galore" for compatibility with Space Age Galore.
(Mod still in development.)

stack traceback:
[C]: in function 'error'
galore_lib/lib/throw.lua:59: in function 'error_if_missing_galore'
angels_galore/data.lua:3: in main chunk

and i dont understand why it tells me that, i checked all three of them at the same time, they're all running simultaneously. i was able to run it once with only vanilla galore and space age galore but now i cant.

Space Age (Galore) is not compatible with Angel's Galore yet. I admit the error could be reworded, but what it's trying to say is that you need a mod called "Angel's+Space Age Galore" to get them to work together, which is still in development.

I will make the error a bit less confusing in the next update, sorry about that.

im an avid fan of your work so i will wait patiently while you do your magic.

I'm glad you're enjoying the mods :D

The magic will be done. I'll notify you here when I upload "Angel's+Space Age Galore" :D

ok question, not something huge:
can you add a recipe so that in angels mods, mineralized water can turn in a crystalizer into resources? i saw a dosh doshington video about sea block where he could turn mineralized water into resources through probability. it wasnt much but it was something.
i tried making such a mod using chat gpt to help me out writing the script but its not working.

also, could you add a recipe where crushed bobmonium and rubyte can be smelted in regular furnaces? angels mod for factorio 1.1 had that recipe, but now its gone. thank you in advance!!!

Mineralized might be too easy to make as a source of infinite ores. I could make the chances of getting ores very low, but at that point the recipe would become irrelevant. Additionally, if you use the crushed stone (named gravel in the next update) + sulfuric acid to create mineral sludge instead of turning it into mineralized water, you can already get pebbles (and base ores in the next update) which you can then turn into iron or copper.

In Seablock, this recipe exists to add a pre-sulfur source of iron. Adding it here will most likely reduce the impact of eventually being able to get ores from slag.

could you add a recipe where crushed bobmonium and rubyte can be smelted in regular furnaces?

Angel's Galore does not have these ores. (Angel's Galore is based on the Angel's special vanilla mode.) As a sidenote, with how streamlined the ore selection is, you might find there is no need for recipes to get ores from a unified resource (like mineralized water in this case). You only have to worry about Stirite (for iron) and Jivolite (for copper)
(..and coal)

If finite ores are an issue, Angel's Galore has full compatibility with the Angel's Infinite Ores mod

But thanks for the recipe suggestions anyways :D
