Sorry for the late response, I somehow forgot to respond.
About the recipe, I think it does not have enough uses to warrant being added to Vanilla Galore*. I do not wish to clutter the catalogue with many recipes that only get used once or twice (or not at all, as this recipe has no uses in vanilla).
However, I might add a "UI-Clutter" recipe group filled with recipes that only get used once or twice - and I must admit, there are a couple of already in the mod. When I do add such a group, I'll include your recipe in it.
(The recipe group will default to disabled like the "convoluted" group is, also sorry for the mean recipe group names, but I have no better ideas....)
