Hello, is it possible to have an option to completely deactivate safe ammo ? (preferably activated by default)

if we fire on our own base, it's the engineer's fault, not the defense system's.

Deactivating frendly fire is an easy and basically cheaty option compared to the basic game.

That would make half of the turrets unusable.
Have you tried enabling the safe recipes and just giving the turrets unsafe ammo? You'll quickly notice how bad it is

whether the box is checked or not, it only uses safe ammo.

sorry but i just cannot reproduce this behaviour, i've even read through all the code to see if there might be an edge case, the turret simply should not replace the ammo if the recipes are enabled.

It could only happen if on_configuration_changed did not trigger for some reason.

I even loaded your tuto4-2.0 save with all your mods and settings and only enabled the recipes. None of the turrets replaces the ammo

Hello, I'm sorry to bother you again, but can you explain to me whether there's any way of completely removing the safe ammo?
I'd like to know if it's possible to completely remove safe ammo, or at least make sure it doesn't appear in the crafting menu at all.
I have the impression that before it was possible, but since a recent update this is no longer the case.
Am I going crazy?

If the ammo gets converted automatically it should not appear in the crafting menu
Otherwise it's only possible by editing the mod files. I'd say enable the recipes and delete the code that creates them
