Advanced Fluid Handling

g Dragging I extensions

Hi. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my pack, the mod, or it's some factorio engine limitation, but it seems that building "I" extensions by dragging them (instead of clicking manually to place every single one, which isn't exactly fun for long distance pipes) installs them in a way a vanilla underground pipe would be installed, i.e. two of them side by side at every connection when length limit is reached.

so instead of this (where X is an extension, and O an empty square; and assuming max length of 5 for the sake of illustration, I have no idea how can I attach a screenshot without external links):

XOOOOXOOOOXOOOOX

I get this
XOOOOXXOOOOXXOOOOXX
and so on (first extension is placed with a click, and it works as intended)

This isn't really expensive in terms of resources needed to craft these extensions, but it kind of defeats the purpose of lowering the number of pipe entities, which bothers me more.

Just wanted to know if this can be fixed, or maybe it's not really an issue and there's just some mod that causes this behavior that I need to find and disable.

(Also, even with this issue, the mod is awesome, making the worst part of vanilla experience (fluid handling) actually enjoyable, thanks.)

This actually is a limitation by the engine due to what the internal type of the entity is. I tried to see about making this a moddable option but it was far too complex and tied into to many components to change it.
