I like Advanced Fluid Handling but find the recipes unnecessarily complicated, so I replaced all intermediate ingredients with an appropriate amount of normal pipes.

Alternatively there is a setting to only do the following:

• Remove all underground segments and replace them with an appropriate amount of normal pipes.
• Replace higher-tier couplers with the first one. We are just connecting one sort of pipe, now.

The mod only changes the recipes and hides some of them. No manufactured items are removed, some just become useless.
