How often is it that early game you are swapping between SMG and Shotgun to take out dense biter nests, with basically no risk as you backpedal into your turret nest?
If you instead had a delay (even if 0.5s) when you swap weapons on your character, it could make for more interesting situations.
The mod is fine as it is, of course.
