Q: How do the changes work exactly?
A: For version 1.0.0, the panels are still based on the heat-pipe entity prototype, which works fine, except it does not allow for a separate shadow-image. For this reason, the shadow has to be painted into the base image file itself as a transparent "black" region, but there are various problems with this solution (many shadows will overlap and further darken an area, and they may also not work as intended in some building arrangements). For version 1.1.0, the prototype has been changed to the reactor prototype and all code has been adapted to it. There are some small issues, in that certain unneeded properties has to receive a value and will be displayed in the tooltip, and the heat connections also shows on all panels when holding one as an item (which is unnecessary), but now the shadows at least work properly! Maybe I will find a solution to the rest, but it seems kind of unlikely right now. Many things seem hard-coded.
