g [won't add] More Layers ?

What i Mean: You have more than 1 underground Layer, so underground Pipes can cross each other without mixing. Maybe deeper Layers are more expensive.

Is this possible?

This is intentional as a design constraint. If you wish to play with more layers, installing No Pipe Touching will have one unique layer added for each pipe type.

I thought about adding deeper pipes, but it would require a lot of graphical considerations and a total rewrite of the current runtime scripting.

Okay i understand. But is No Pipe Touching not incompatible with this mod?

"I thought about adding deeper pipes, but it would require a lot of graphical considerations and a total rewrite of the current runtime scripting. " And what if you use a similar principle to NPT? You add a new Sort of Pipe, called "Deeper Pipe". There are 2 oder more tiers, every tier is a little bit more expensive. This new Pipes also have a correspondig underground connection pipe an maybe, this more deeper underground connection Pipes need Energy, so that the Player will be forced use deeper underground pipes only in raw situations.

No, NPT is explicitly compatible. I designed both mods and made them compatible with each other.

Simply put, no. NPT has special logic that runs at startup that separates the layers. The way those layers are designed is specifically done so that it doesn't affect the runtime scripting whatsoever. Adding a second layer would completely break the current logic. It also subtly functions by adding no new recipes and items. What you suggest would require both, and a complete rewrite of the runtime scripting to support multiple stacked layers. There's also no simple way to do a 'these entities need power' requirement as suggested. And that wouldn't make sense anyway, why would running pipes underground require power?

Okay.

Yeah with NPT is this very fine.

Thanks for this mod and for NPT!
