The following error occurred while playing. I don't know what caused it. But as stated at the beginning of this message, please report it to the developer!

Error while running event the-cave::on_nth_tick(240)
LuaEntity belongs to surface nauvis-factory-floor (index 3) but a LuaEntity belonging to surface nauvis (index 1) was expected.

Thanks for reporting this. Could you tell me exactly what you were doing just before the error happened?

Were you inside a Factorissimo factory floor while viewing Nauvis through the map or Remote View, or were you moving between the factory floor and Nauvis?

Also, does the error happen every time, or was it only once?

Unfortunately, I can't give a definitive answer to this question. I was in a co-op with another player, so it's possible the error wasn't due to my actions. How often did this error occur? After it happened, we stopped playing. Unfortunately, I don't have any more information, but I just wanted to share this error; perhaps it might help. I should also add that the Factorissimo mod I have isn't recommended; it's a separate version of the mod. Perhaps that could have contributed to this error.

Thanks, that’s still useful information.

The error shows that an enemy on Nauvis was being given a target inside a Factorissimo factory-floor surface, so it does appear to be a cross-surface interaction. The separate Factorissimo version may have contributed to it, although The Cave should still handle that situation safely rather than crashing.

Could you please send me the exact name and version of the Factorissimo mod you were using, or a link to its mod page? You don’t need to try to reproduce the error again.
