Tile-locked expansion challenge. The map generates normally, but you are confined to a small starting area and must spend Tokens earned through the research tree to purchase adjacent chunks (32x32 tiles), turning the factory into a hyper-dense, space-constrained logistics puzzle. The base game is fully supported. The mod was tuned and balanced against Space Age on Nauvis. The other planets are not tested. Requires Factorio 2.1.

Features:
- Tile-locked expansion. The map generates normally, but you start confined to a small
area and must claim adjacent 32x32 chunks to grow. Leaving your territory, or building
outside it, is blocked.
- Expansion tokens are earned from research. Five repeatable Territorial Expansion
technologies, one per science tier, each granting tokens as it levels.
- Map-view Expansion tool. A chunk overlay marks what you own and what you can buy, and
box-select claims chunks in a single drag.
- A draggable widget collects every Territorio action: expansion tokens, banked artillery
strikes, the missile salvo, and surveillance scans.
- Chunk Refund, in three tiers. Sell a chunk back for its token. The tier decides how
much of what you built on it survives the sale.
- Resource Synthesis, in five tiers. Place new ore patches inside your own territory when
the map did not give you the ore you need. Richness and field size grow with research.
- Resource Prospecting charts every ore patch within 20 chunks of your territory, so
distant oil shows as an island in the fog instead of guesswork.
- Perimeter Defense, in four tiers: an automatic border wall that rebuilds itself,
dragon's teeth, and two densities of minefield, laid along your frontier.
- The Mortar, a manual-only emplacement fired with the artillery remote. Early and cheap,
and it wears nests down rather than deleting them.
- The Missile Battery, one per surface, firing an eight-missile salvo at a spot you
designate. It loads vanilla rockets straight off your bus.
- Territorial Artillery Strike, in three tiers. Killing enemies banks charges from the
first minute of the game. The research is what lets you spend them on an off-map
barrage.
- Frontier and Deep-Range Surveillance chart a fog band along your border, with a
manually fired sector pulse.
- Base Beautification, in three tiers, paves your territory as you claim it.
- A hazard-concrete band marks your border without needing ALT mode.
- Hand-mining is twice as fast on ground your force owns.
- Territory limit startup setting. Easy, Medium or Hard caps how far the expansion
technologies repeat, and so how much of the map you can ever own.
Info:
- First public release. The mod is feature-complete and has been played end to end on
Nauvis, but it is a work in progress and feedback is the point of this release.
- Bots and biters are deliberately NOT restricted by the border. Bots fly over locked
chunks and biters walk through them. This is core to the puzzle, not an oversight.
- Every artillery emplacement in range shares one missile salvo, so a Mortar standing
near the Missile Battery will eat missiles meant for it. The battery supersedes the
Mortar.
- Territory, tokens and research are held per force, confirmed in game by switching
forces and checking that neither claimed chunks nor completed research carried
across. What has NOT been exercised is a live session with several players
connected at once.
- The base game is fully supported. The mod was tuned against Space Age on Nauvis. The
other planets are not tested.
