Changelog

Version: 0.2.3
Date: 2026-10-10
  Changes:
    - Tellurium copper must be made in a machine. Vanilla assemblers of every tier can make it;
hand crafting is no longer available. Ingredients, output and research stay unchanged.
  Compatibility:
    - Space Age foundries can also make the solid copper-plate alloy recipe. Preserve the early
assembler route, existing molten-copper casting and BZ Foundry/Alloy Smelting routes.
    - Existing assembler recipes and compatible inputs survive the update.
Version: 0.2.2
Date: 2026-10-04
  Features:
    - Rocket launchers require two tellurium copper for precision electrical contacts, preserving
existing ingredients and crafting time. Rocket ammo and weapon effects are unchanged.
  Compatibility:
    - Gate every launcher unlock on Tellurium processing only when it adds no new science packs
and creates no research cycle. Preserve starting recipes and respect rocket-launcher bypass.
    - Scale alloy cost per deterministic output and regenerate launcher recycling.
  Changes:
    - Existing launcher assemblers need tellurium copper after updating. Already researched saves
retain their unlocks and gain missing Tellurium research through the existing upgrade handler.
Version: 0.2.1
Date: 2026-09-25
  Compatibility:
    - Krastorio 2: the laser artillery turret needs five tellurium-dioxide crystals, one per carbon-dioxide laser. Advanced solar panels are crafted four at a time with one tellurium metal, the vanilla panel's thin-film charge per megawatt; SE space solar panels inherit it.
    - Space Exploration: energy-beam emitters need 50 crystals and energy beam defence 20. With Bismuth, space supercomputers need 20 thermoelectric components (higher tiers inherit them) and RTG equipment 10.
    - Each change requires the matching Tellurium research, is skipped if that would create a research cycle, and can be bypassed by exact recipe name.
  Bugfixes:
    - The SE thermal-branch availability check inspected the recipe name instead of the recipe, so it never skipped.
  Changes:
    - Existing saves: the changed recipes need tellurium after updating. Missing Tellurium research for already researched technologies is completed automatically.
Version: 0.2.0
Date: 2026-09-23
  Balancing:
    - Copper trace recovery now smelts at steel or electric furnace speed: 32 seconds per 20 ore in a chemical plant, down from the output of four furnaces. Recovery is a deliberate diversion of copper rather than a denser smelter. Residue per ore is unchanged.
    - Crushed-copper recovery follows the same furnace-speed rule.
  Features:
    - Electric engine units are crafted five at a time with one tellurium copper, so robots, the rocket silo and utility science need tellurium.
    - Solar panels are crafted ten at a time with one tellurium metal as a thin-film absorber.
    - The rocket silo needs 20 tellurium-dioxide crystals.
    - With Bismuth, productivity, efficiency and quality module 3 need two thermoelectric components, like speed module 3.
    - Tellurium optics also grants +10% laser damage and +10% laser shooting speed.
  Changes:
    - Existing saves: electric engine, solar panel and rocket silo recipes need tellurium after updating. Tellurium research that already researched technologies now depend on is completed automatically, so the recovery chain is available at once; build it before those assemblers run dry.
  Compatibility:
    - Rocket-Silo Construction: the excavation site that replaces the rocket silo needs the silo's 20 crystals, once per silo.
  Locale:
    - Add technology and item descriptions, including when to start recovery and where productivity modules pay off.
  Graphics:
    - Tellurium copper carries a tellurium badge so it stands apart from copper plates.
Version: 0.1.12
Date: 2026-09-23
  Compatibility:
    - Register tellurium materials for Space Exploration delivery cannons, preserving normal capsule costs and cargo quantities. Finished thermoelectric components remain ordinary cargo.
    - Add two tellurium copper to SE pylon substations and four thermoelectric components to SE thermodynamics laboratories when the thermal branch is usable.
    - Gate the equipment changes on Tellurium research, skip unsafe progression cycles, and respect individual recipe bypasses.
    - Preserve existing K2 copper enrichment and inherited optics without additional residue or downstream crystal charges.
Version: 0.1.11
Date: 2026-09-20
  Bugfixes:
    - Prefer enabled and earlier usable material sources over late recipes with matching names; reject inaccessible research, recycling, barrel emptying, matter routes and net-zero returns.
    - Use actual bismuth production prerequisites instead of optional K2 enrichment; keep ordinary thermoelectrics independent of late argon and optical research.
    - Preserve coal-reduction unlocks and thermal recipe inputs/output when those recipes are bypassed.
    - Retain downstream alloy requirements when the power-regulator integration is bypassed or cannot be applied.
  Compatibility:
    - Allow the existing thermoelectric component recipe in electromagnetic plants and crystal growth in cryogenic plants, preserving the ordinary machine routes.
    - Reuse existing unlocks for optional refining, recovery and rubber improvements without adding broad upstream research gates. Native K2 copper enrichment retains its processing prerequisite.
  Locale:
    - Explain recovery rarity and refining recipes; include selected source recipes and unlocks in optional diagnostics.
    - Consolidate the current three-branch design and integration descriptions.
Version: 0.1.10
Date: 2026-09-20
  Balancing:
    - Batch Ashier scanners and spectroscopes: one optical crystal per twenty instruments, preserving all other costs and crafting time per item.
    - Keep shared helium and carbon-dioxide lasers free of Tellurium to avoid an accidental K2 advanced science surcharge; laser turrets retain their direct crystal requirement.
    - Batch HV power regulators: one tellurium copper per ten regulators, preserving upstream costs and time per item.
    - Keep rare recovery rates and refining efficiency tiers unchanged.
Version: 0.1.9
Date: 2026-09-20
  Compatibility:
    - Adapt the single optical-crystal recipe to use two bismuth glass, or ordinary glass when available.
    - Preserve the four-crystal yield, duration, water and tellurium dioxide costs; require the glass production technology.
    - Ignore recycling, matter conversion and glass sources dependent on Tellurium optics; preserve the base recipe without a safe provider.
Version: 0.1.8
Date: 2026-09-20
  Compatibility:
    - Add optional tellurium-assisted synthetic rubber for BrimStuff: 33% more rubber with a 99% returned tellurium charge.
    - Preserve source ingredients, waste, duration and machine category; unlock through existing polymer research.
    - Exclude returned tellurium from productivity and disable automatic reverse recycling.
Version: 0.1.7
Date: 2026-09-20
  Bugfixes:
    - Read researched unlock effects from technology prototypes when the mod configuration changes.
  Compatibility:
    - Peroxide extraction now uses sulfuric acid and peroxide without a separate water input, allowing ordinary chemical plants.
    - Reduce peroxide extraction to three residue per dioxide, giving it a distinct efficiency benefit over four-residue chloride extraction. Retain the eight-second duration and existing peroxide technology unlock.
Version: 0.1.6
Date: 2026-09-20
  Locale:
    - Give optional refining/recovery technologies distinct names and remove internal IDs from refining recipe names.
    - Explain the residue-saving tradeoff in the peroxide extraction tooltip.
  Balancing:
    - Consolidate copper enrichment into the existing K2 recipe with residue recovery and 25% longer processing.
    - Keep only processing, optics and thermoelectrics technologies; integrations use existing research.
  Compatibility:
    - Transfer satellite crystals into IntermediatesForYou satellite bodies while preserving the per-satellite cost.
    - Use optical crystals in LasingAround helium lasers instead of charging their scanners and spectroscopes directly.
    - Transfer laser turret crystals into carbon-dioxide lasers when consumed by the turret.
    - Add optics research prerequisites to the component technologies and respect recipe bypasses.
Version: 0.1.5
Date: 2026-09-20
  Bugfixes:
    - Recognize mined graphite and its mining fluid instead of gating early reduction behind K2 matter technology.
Version: 0.1.4
Date: 2026-09-20
  Balancing:
    - Fold available heatsinks or cooling fans into the standard thermoelectric recipe, preserving solder and increasing output to six. Remove the duplicate cooling recipe.
  Compatibility:
    - Add explicit MetalsForYou load ordering and test profiles for its full 2.1 source collection, IntermediatesForYou and GasGasGases.
Version: 0.1.3
Date: 2026-09-20
  Balancing:
    - Adapt the standard thermoelectric recipe to available solder and substrate materials instead of keeping competing equal-yield recipes.
