I was playing around trying to increase the amount of teams, but failed due to having no Factorio modding experience. Is it possible to increase the amount of teams available? Maybe let it depend on the scenario, like it should be fine for a production scenario, right?

I read the game supports up to 64 teams, which is obvioulsy way to much (although the freedom gives competition organizers a lot of creativity), but having a bit more (16 / 32?) teams available would be very nice.

I think it is not that simple. For this change it would require code rewriting on all modes. I dont know if I want to do that.
