Sulfur from Acid Neutralisation (Reborn)

Tired of running a whole oil processing chain for sulfur on Vulcanus while sulfuric acid is coming straight out of the ground?

With this mod, acid neutralisation also produces sulfur (25 per craft by default). You also get an optional recipe that vents excess steam into the atmosphere, for when you only want the sulfur.

Features

  • Acid neutralisation gives sulfur alongside its steam.
  • Steam venting (optional) is a chemical plant recipe that gets rid of steam you don't need. It's unlocked by Calcite processing.
  • Both are startup settings:
  • Sulfur amount: 0–100 per craft. Set it to 0 to turn the sulfur output off. For reference, 100 sulfur makes 1000 sulfuric acid, before productivity.
  • Steam venting recipe: on or off.

Compatibility

  • Requires Space Age.
  • Applies its changes late in loading, so other mods that edit acid neutralisation won't overwrite it. If the recipe already gives sulfur, the amounts are combined instead of added twice.
  • Incompatible with the original Sulfur from Acid Neutralisation. Use one or the other.

Coming from the original mod

Swap the original out for this one. Your settings carry over, and existing saves keep working: steam venting stays unlocked if you'd already researched it.
