I tested this mod against a space platform hub containing biter eggs of all qualities. The spoilage scanner is set to "least fresh". My idea is to drop into space or recycle biter eggs that are close to spoiling into harmless nutrients, thereby avoiding biters to spawn on my space platform.
Unfortunately, the output is always the quality percentage of the lowest of any quality, without the quality modifier. So I could have a 100% fresh biter egg alongside a 1% stale rare biter egg, and I'd get an output of 1% stale (normal) biter eggs. That would mean I'd throw away the good biter egg, while the rare biter egg spoils.
Is it possible to get the quality of the item correctly?
