Spaghettorio

Are you ready for an experience that puts the 'pain' in Penne?

Spaghettorio is a simple mod, with a single, simple rule: all of the buildings you place have randomized orientations. (With a few exceptions.) Furthermore, buildings cannot be manually rotated and placing blueprints is disabled.

Don't get any funny ideas, either; orientations are based upon the building's position. Removing and replacing a building in the same spot will not provide relief from the spaghetti; you'll have to try harder than that to defeat the all powerful powers of the Pasta Lord.

Exceptions

There are a few main exceptions to this rule:
- Anything related to rails is unaffected. This includes rails, signals, stops, and gates (if you somehow make one that can be rotated)
- Anything related to belts is unaffected. This includes splitters, undergrounds, loaders, and inserters.
- Both offshore pumps and normal fluid pumps are unaffected.

Most of this is so that the game is actually playable, either because random belts makes it possible for certain locations to be inaccessible, or because the game actually freezes if I try to mess with rails.

Mod Compatibility

This mod should be compatible with other mods off-the-bat, but I have not extensively tested compatibility. If there are compatibility issues, feel free to report them on the mod's discussion page or github.

Contact

I can be found in the following Discord servers:
- Mylon's discord
- Earendel's discord
- Pyanodon's Mods discord
- The Seablock discord
- The r/factorio discord

If you join any of those servers, you may DM me at Braxbro#5536. Please do not bother any of the staff of the above servers with issues with my mods. I, and only I, maintain my mods at the moment. Others will not be able to help you.

I also occasionally check the mod's discussion page or github.

Support

I don't currently take donations, and possibly never will, for the work I do as a mod developer. If you want to thank me with your money, please donate it to charity instead; if you wish to donate particularly to charities I'd be interested in, or are truly hellbent on giving me money, feel free to DM me on Discord as explained above.
