I've been thinking up some ideas as to what more science recipes might look like for the other planets in Space Age, specially Aquilo and Fulgora as they are yet to receive any alterative recipes for their science packs.
For Fulgora I was thinking something to do with the 'Personal battery MK3' and maybe the 'Destroyer capsule'. Reason being Fulgora is primarily a planet focused on electric and military objects, the 'Destroyer capsule' fits into that role as it's a military robot that uses electricity as it's main source of damage. However the 'Personal battery MK3' already uses everything found in the Electromagnetic science recipe but just more expensive making for a good ingredient in a alternative recipe.
This one's a bit less serious and basically belongs in the "silly" category as (assuming Factorio calculates probability the way I think it does) productivity modules can't be used for this and the idea lives or dies depending on whether or not you can force feed a 'Cryogenic plant' plasma.
The idea behind my alterative 'Cryogenic science pack' is that the Factorio Engineer took one look at the power output of the 'Portable fusion reactor', called it pathetic, and then decided to overclock the thing in using a 'Cryogenic plant' and the exhaust of a 'Fusion reactor'.
Safe to say this mention of generating science would be quite resource intensive on the Fluoroketone front, however the prosses calls for overclocking the 'Portable fusion reactor' not consuming it, meaning there's a good chance to get the reactor back but because of that we can't use productivity with this recipe as that runs the risk of recipe making more 'Portable fusion reactors' being spat out than where put in. I think if done right this could be an interesting recipe for making higher quality science packs as the 'Portable fusion reactor' should be the only quality item in the recipe.
