I would like to try this mod in my existing save but I need to know if the all the original recipes will still work
That would be no problem, all vanilla, and space age recipes are unchanged :D
Only the setting about ice productivity - that defaults to OFF - will change an existing recipe, so no need to worry about breaking saves.
