progression is blocked because you can't unlock blue science packs since you can't mine oil to progress the tech tree. I would suggest providing more crushers and asteroid collectors at the start because you very quickly get to the point where those are your bottlenecks and you just have to afk for science to slowly be made. limited electric furnaces would be the next bottleneck but you could at least craft those if you could make it to blue science.
