Space Depot
Space Age 2.1 lets platforms parked at the same planet supply each other. But when two platforms share a group, items set to be supplied by Platforms won't be shared between the depot and its clients.
Space Depot fixes that:
- Tick Act as depot on a space platform hub.
- Tick the logistic groups your client platforms request from (source: Platforms).
- The depot gets a
<group> (depot)copy of each ticked group, sourced from the planet, so rockets keep it stocked while it keeps providing. - Each copy is its own section with its own ×, so you size each planet's buffer separately. Overlapping items add up.
- Edit the client group as normal; the depot copy follows.
- The panel warns about depot requests that would stop it providing.
No new items, no new entities. Requires Space Age and Factorio 2.1.
Tips
- Don't wire circuit Set requests into the depot hub: those always request from Platforms too, and stop the depot providing them.
- Clients can use circuit requests; just put those items in a ticked group too, or the depot won't restock them.
