i [Changed] "Cryo-Preservation Chest"?

Maybe instead of fridge it could be called something sci-fi-esque? :P

Do you have some ideas? i'm requesting some on discord, I think it needs to maintain a balance between fitting to the game, and explicit toward its usage. Cryo-Preservation Chest sounds like trying to be as sci-fi as possible, but doesn't actually convey what it is. Fridge, refrigerator, freezer, they might be too "common appliance", I think the best would lie in between.

maybe just simple "Cryo chest"?

Coldcell—where spoilables life journey gets locked down.

I feel like chest has to be part of it anyway, so cryopreservation chest or cryogenic chest would be my suggestion! It's consistent with factorio nomenclature in the sense that the "cryogenic lab" exists, and the logistics chests all end in "chest".

What about just cryo-chest?

It's your amazing mod! I'm down with whatever :D Cryo-chest sounds sick.

Cryogenic container, or abbreviated cryo-container, sounds great.
Not a chest, since it is still associated with some kind of box, but a container, as something high-tech, which is essentially what it is.

shit I like cryo-container too, I don't know if I should change it again :D

It's based on the buffer CHEST but container is good too

What a wonderful legend, it turns out!
In the not so distant present, one scientist tried to solve the problem of spoilage of food products, and in one of the moments of enlightenment (at that moment the universe itself revealed secret knowledge to him, and it was called cryogenics) he was able to invent a formula for a liquid cooler, but he understood that this was not enough to somehow keep the products fresh, and then he remembered that these products not only need to be kept fresh, but also stored somewhere long enough for long-term use, and all current inventions are not suitable for this.
After much thought, after several sleepless days and nights, he finally found a solution, and took the current knowledge of his people as the basis for his invention, and began to create and create.
And so, under his leadership, a completely new and high-tech invention appeared, which allowed not only to keep products fresh, using it personally, but also opened access for everyone who wanted to do this, and since the technological development of his world already allowed the production of various assistants (let us remind the reader that various drones were already used to deliver products and goods everywhere), then the current invention had such a possibility.
And this miracle invention was called a "cryogenic container"! Yes, yes, dear reader, you heard right, this new direction was called "cryogenics"! And it was not just some box or chest that everyone is used to using, but a real crown of secret knowledge and engineering, a sealed device that allowed to reduce the temperature to critically low values (rumor has it that this value was about -153 degrees Celsius, imagine!), with the help of that same liquid cooler, and it was called - "container"!
Well, soon all users simply began to call it by its abbreviated name, simply “cryo-container” :)

shit I like cryo-container too, I don't know if I should change it again :D

Well, while there are few users, we can change it once more :)
In general, what happens when the name changes? Do the entities simply change, or are they deleted, and then you have to post them again?

I'm not changing the internal name (it's still simple_refrigerator), just the display name

Oh yeah, I'm being a bit stupid, only the localized name changes :)
