Side Inserters (Updated Version)

This mod adds handy hotkeys for customizing inserter pickup and drop locations in your Factorio game, adding more options to your base building.

⚠️ Attention:

To avoid conflicts with new hotkeys, please adjust the Focus search in Advanced interaction for something else than CTRL+F, or just right-click it to remove the hotkey. You can access these settings from the Controls setting in the game Settings.

Key Features:

Rotate Pickup: Quickly adjust the pickup and drop sides of any inserter.
Change Inserter Drop Lane: Easily switch the inserter's drop lane between near, far lanes on transport belt for more precise control.
Custom Hotkeys: Set hotkeys for faster configuration.
Supports Ghosts/Blueprints: Hotkeys also work on ghosted inserters and blueprints (note: ghost inserters won’t visually update, but the changes are visible with the Alt overlay turned on).
Supports Modded Inserters: Fully compatible with mods that add new inserter types.

Hotkeys:

CTRL + R Rotate the pickup direction clockwise, skipping over the drop direction.
CTRL + SHIFT + R Rotate pickup direction anti-clockwise.
CTRL + F Toggle inserting items on the near or far side of a transport belt.
CTRL + SHIFT + F Cycle between left, middle, or right lanes on the belt for corner insertion or belts moving away from the inserter.

To use, simply place your cursor over the inserter and press the appropriate hotkey.

Settings:

Wrap inserter pickup rotation: (Player setting) If enabled, pickup rotation skips over the drop position and keeps going. If disabled, rotation stops at the drop position. Enabled by default.
Rotate inserter pickup in 45° increments: (Map/server setting) If enabled, inserter pickup rotates in 45° increments instead of 90°. Disabled by default.

Languages:

Mod Supports some languages like: English, Japanese and Russian. If you want to add more languages, please let me know in Discussion section.
