Adds 8 (15 counting variations) new turrets for dealing with alien menace, as well as other military-related items. Good compliment to mods that add new biter types, like Rampant or Natural Evolution.

i Shotgun Turret

Hello! It is me again talking about shotgun turrets.

Hello man how are you? I really like your mod, to help against rampant-fixed mod.

I am deep in a play 100 hours + and noticed that the shotgun turrets almost has not killed any biters anymore. Their range of 15 is a great contrast to the ranger of the first turret of your mod: the Heavy MG turret range is 30.

All other turrets have greater ranges like the Gatling turret (35), Light cannon (45), cruise missile (90).

What I noticed is that the shotgun keep there doing nothing, with a belt full of shells, it seems wasted material on this turret.

What about increase its range to... I dont know 2/3 of the mg turret? like 20, or even 25? And the projectile range from 15 to 50 or 75? There is no problem the spread of the projectiles, on high end evolution greater attacks, a shotgun turret with greater range and spread would help ALOT.

Thank you for the mod! This is not a complain, just a suggestion.

Scatterguns are early game powerhouses. Range is supposed to be low, to balance out their many upsides - cost-effective ammunition, lots of armor and HP, having an area-of-effect and being available very early in the tech tree.

If they sit idle during attacks, that means enemies are no longer a real threat (can't even damage a wall!), being reduced to just a resource sink.
