Adds 8 (15 counting variations) new turrets for dealing with alien menace, as well as other military-related items. Good compliment to mods that add new biter types, like Rampant or Natural Evolution.
As title suggests, I have found that the cannon turrets do not deal any damage to asteroids. Tested with normal and rare turrets, using normal and rare ammo. Using explosive ammo damage is dealt. Not quite sure what is going on here.
Huh. That seems like either they have no collision box (which would be weird since they collide with the platform just fine) or they inexplicably are the same force as the player (since I tweaked cannon shells to not collide with same-force entities so they can shoot over walls). I'll Investigate.
Found out. Asteroids have a very specific collision mask which made collision checks of moving cannon shells and shotgun pellets ignore them. Explosive shells also did not collide, but the explosion at the aim point afterwards did catch them. Fixed with the latest update.
