Modular Turrets

by wodzu93

Adds 8 (15 counting variations) new turrets for dealing with alien menace, as well as other military-related items. Good compliment to mods that add new biter types, like Rampant or Natural Evolution.

g HD textures ?

Any chances for better textures so its looks more similar to factorio graphics?

Unless someone is willing to help with those, not gonna happen. I'm absolutely terrible at graphics stuff myself. Tried doing the graphics overhaul some time ago, it ended up looking uglier than it is now, so I dropped it.

I understand, thanks for the answer, still best mod for turrets in game, i have only problem with minimal range in most turrets, its too high for my opinion, even mostly if you combine this mod with combat overhaul and other mods, so even if not new textures, more mod settings like min/max range would be awesome, but like i said, still awesome mod and great work, thanks you for this. Pozdrawiam :)

Man, there are a lot of neural networks out there right now that will do 95% of the work for you. Try ESRGAN for example (there are guides on the internet)

Upscaling is not the solution - I'm talking about creating assets that fit with Factorio art style, which requires making models, texturing and animating. Tasks which I'm terrible at.

Roger that, thanks for the reply!

By the way, have you thought about making accelerated missiles a separate mod? I think it could be interesting without needing to be able to draw graphics

the mod is still good!
