Makes resources more sparse than base game. You will need to use trains much earlier to get resources. Game will be more difficult especially with higher enemy settings.

Thats correct atm.
There is no support for other mods then vanilla and SA atm.
And for PY I'll have to get the configs from authors I think since I won't be able to write those as I'm not too familiar with the mod set.

// RSO 6.2.17 worked great with PY 2.x builds on factorio 1.x
And how is the PY for 2.0 in terms of resources? And how does it interact with SA?
If PY is Nauvis only then config might be converted easily, if it handles whole SA then it will be difficult without knowledge of how PY works.
We have not added any ores. Thus the 1.1 config should remain functional.
However,
There has the been the longstanding issue that RSO spawns the pY "big mine" resource rocks in large clumps.
The intended gameplay is to have the rocks spawn individually.
This means that energy generation is trivial using RSO due to the large abundance of geothermal patches.
I'm on the Bob's Mods team, currently working on updating Bob's Ores, and naturally we have the same issue as pY. What all would be needed to update the our configs? We're currently only looking at vanilla 2.0 compatibility. Anything we do with Space Age will probably be months down the line.
For vanilla all that is needed is to move all config entries from config to config.nauvis.
Not sure if thats the best way but all planets have a config table now inside config.
I have looked at normal ore generation of PY and on recommended preset it does seem to produce huge amount of resources per patch. If thats intended then all the RSO configs would need to be multiplied by factor of 10 or more. It also seems that nexelit as ore was added instead of only the single stone variant.
I'll need more info to re-enable those configs.
I have re-enabled PY in RSO and fixed the bigger resources to be spawned as single patch (I hope).
I have no idea how balance will look but thats something I won't be able to fix on my own.
