I could be mistaken, but it looks like the rso-regenerate remote interface function only lets you regenerate everything. The /rso-regenerate console command allows disabling biter regeneration and selecting a specific surface.

You are correct that remote interface doesn't allow to skip the biters while console command does.
Both of those do regeneration on all the surfaces unless you exclude them with ignoreSurface remote command.
Overriding of seed is also only available as command.

Okay, thanks. I was confused because the example remote.call in the code shows arguments too.

I asked because I need to use it in the Cargo Ships mod "regenerate-oil" console command (to reset offshore oil patches). Regenerating biters in this case does not make sense.
