We're currently running a Razi Protocol game with a friend, and the last save we made had:

Razi Protocol 1.6.0
Krastorio2Assets 2.0.4

Which had worked perfectly at the time. After looking at Razi Protocol itself, 1.6.0 didn't have have a direct dependency on Krastorio2Assets.

I have updated the mods, broke compatibility and am now trying to roll them back, but as of 1.6.5, Razi Protocol has a dependency on Krastorio2Assets <= 2.0.3 which doesn't let it properly sync with the save anymore, and I can't force select the required versions because then the game refuses to accept such a mod configuration, saying it's invalid.

I understand other mods with broken compatibility, but because of this added condition I am now unable to update Razi Protocol itself, because the mod config becomes invalid. What should I do, just play on the old version? Or would it be possible to fix the dependency version (since they were working together before)?

Yes we have gotten it to work by rolling back all of the mods, but I'd like to at least be able to update Razi Protocol itself with correct dependencies, which is impossible now.

Had the same thing, just manually download 2.0.3. K2assets and place them in your mod directory. You can the delete the more current version. After that you probably have to do the same for a couple other mods (see posts before).
