i Quality Balence Suggestion

Hello.

I've been playing this pack for a while, and something I've noticed is that Quality levels is very lop sided.

You can unlock epic quality after reaching your second planet. But you need nearly a dozen planets to unlock Legendary Quality. This is a huge gap.

I'm not sure about everyone else. But for me this destroyed any incentive to mess with quality until I unlocked epic. I didn't want to spend a bunch of time creating rare level buildings only to replace everything a short time later.

I have a suggestion to fix this. IndustrialCraft - More Qualities. This mod add 40 levels of quality to the game. What makes this interesting to me is that this isn't 35 levels after legendary. it actually add 15 levels before legendary. Uncommon 1, Uncommon 2, Uncommon 3, Uncommon 4, Uncommon 5, then Rare 1, Rare 2, etc.

You could set this up so that every planet, or perhaps every science card, unlocks a level of quailty, rather than only Gleba and Aquilo.

So why is this important? This changes the decision making process of creating quality buildings.

In the current setup there is no reason not to put everything off until you beat Gleba. But now there is no right answer. If I've unlocked Rare 1 I can make a base of that quality level, or I could wait to unlock Rare 2, or 3, or 4, etc. The important thing is that the gap between levels is small enough putting things off for a little while won't make a huge difference. I have to weigh my options and decide how long I want to wait.

When there is no right answer it makes the process far more interesting, and I think that is the spirit of Factorio.

Now there is a bunch of quality levels past legendary in this mod, which will eventually result in very over powered things. But the mod is customizable enough that you can change how over powered they are, or even remove Legendary+ levels it all together, so I don't view this as a problem.

So yeah, that's my suggestion. I think this is worth looking into.
