I got to the point where the condenser has 115% quality applied on it. From the description I expect to put single item in, and have guarantee that it upgrades one quality up. This however does not happen, I need at least 2 in stack. Am I doing something wrong?
Notice the condenser has 1 Tarantulator and 1 Nuclear reactor, but they are not being upgraded. You can adjust the game speed at top left since its slow to craft
looks like that unreal quality mod messes with the next_probability, it changes the one for rare from 0.1 to 0.08 so you need like 120% quality for it to effectively be a 100% chance, and the machine in the save is 115%
interesting, do you think you could somehow detect that and maybe show in the condenser tooltip or somewhere, how much quality % is needed for guarantee upgrade? I am pretty sure I wont be the only one confused in the future
hmm it kinda does already say that, if you look under quality you'll see rare->epic is at 92% chance currently (not that i really looked at that before)
yeah its not very obvious but the next_probability is just a weird mechanic alltogether, not many mods chance it and when the probabilities don't line up then you get to see those extra lines automatically, i have no control over them anyways. thanks for enjoying my mod tho.
