g Some suggestions

Hey there! I am purely using this mod to make my factorio experience more fun, but I should mention some odd things going on with it.

First off, it looks like the quality condenser doesn't enjoy working unless it has been interacted with recently. This means that I typically have to go move an item from one slot to another to get it to "unclog" and start condensing again.

Secondly, it looks like it likes to wait a second or two until after something has been inserted into it to start condensing. This becomes a problem if there are multiple fast inserters putting items into the condenser. It won't actually condense until it is either full or, very rarely, has a long period where nothing is inserting into it

This mod is great, and I can only thank you for what you've done already! I hope you make these changes, but that is all I've noticed

The first one is just you not knowing how to Factorio. You can't just expect the machine to know what you want; you have to setup the conditions for it. You have to remove the items when it reaches the quality you expect.

The second problem is again, you not knowing how to Factorio. If you look at the container entity, you'll notice it has 4x10 slots, it doesn't start cranking until either slots or full or inserters stop inserting. If you don't want to fill the entire 5x10 grid, simply circuit the inserters to say: "only enable when X item of base quality is < threshold."

the reason this mod waits until the inventory idle is for performance, it encourages filling it up all the time every time to minimize the amount of times it waits to start, this keeps the lua overhead of the mod minimal since in the previous two mods there was code running far more often than id like.

The first one is not that. I have inserters that take out the legendaries. I mean to say that the condenser does not try to work if the items are not in an interrupted (yes, i mean interrupted, as in it's like the machine won't work unless the items have some gap in them) line from the top left of the inventory to the bottom right.

yes, somewhat by design its most effective if you only have a single item type in the condenser, could you send me a screenshot of one of your clogged condensers? perhaps by looking at it i might get some improvement ideas.

i would need to show it on a video since what i'm referring to sounds insane.

essentially, the thing will "clog" if the set of items doesn't have some gap, empty space, in it.
the condenser will sit there with the items until it seems either a lot of time has passed, it has been recently interacted with via inserter, or the inventory is manually moved around inside the condenser.
