Not sure why given that the deep veins are more akin to oil wells than ore, but I'm no programmer.

Hey! Thanks for the bug report! Fixed it! Also figured out a few more things, including a very old known bug: mining drills didn't detect the new ore and needed to be placed again. They now correctly do that as well.

Interesting new error: the ore patches created by the drills can, when depleted, create new ore nodes for deep core mining. Not technically a bug, but I thought it was funny.

Oh, that's really interesting, but I guess it makes sense! :)))
