Precise Clocking

Fine-tune your factory with Satisfactory-inspired, per-machine clock controls. Underclock machines to reduce operating power, or overclock them to increase production.

Features

  • Set individual machines from 20% to 250% in 1% increments.
  • Supports assembling machines—including assembler 1—furnaces, mining drills, labs, and rocket silos.
  • Includes pumps, offshore pumps, and electric inserters.
  • Compatible with Factorio 2.1.23+, with or without Space Age.
  • No special items or research required.

How to use

Open a supported machine’s clock panel, or hover over it and press Ctrl+Shift+C. Enter a percentage and click Apply. Choose Reset to 100% to restore its default clock.

Inserters must have an empty hand before their clock can be changed.

Speed and power

Production and research machines use Factorio 2.1’s native local effects. The game continues to handle crafting, fuel, quality, productivity, and power availability.

Without other bonuses, 200% clock gives twice the base speed and requests 2.5× the operating power. Underclocking reduces operating consumption; idle drain stays unchanged.

Clock bonuses add to module and beacon bonuses. Actual throughput still depends on inputs, outputs, available power, and engine limits. Rocket-silo clocks affect rocket-part production, not launch animations.

Compatibility notes

Pumps and inserters use clocked prototype variants. Changing their clock replaces the entity and may affect mods that track individual machines. Belts, agricultural towers, asteroid collectors, and power generators are not supported.

Before uninstalling, reset every controlled machine to 100% and save while the mod is still enabled. Otherwise, local effects may remain on production machines, and clocked pump/inserter variants will disappear.
