Hi, thank you for your report! As poles snap to the grid, the distance between them is always a whole number. Therefore it is intentional that the maximum wire length must be a whole number too. The radiuses should support decimals, and as far as I can tell all of them do.
So a few questions to get to the best solution:
- Is there a reason you want to use decimals in the wire length? (If you're using another mod affecting the placement of poles and distance between them, I might want to accomodate that rather than allowing any decimal value.)
- Did you use commas for the radius? Factorio only supports periods (dots) for decimals. I know from own experience this can be confusing for players outside the USA, but sadly I don't think I can support both formats.
