Allows players to select a planet to start on individually with an interface for selecting your starter planet.
Players are not seperated onto different forces, and are not forced to land in the same place. Play multiplayer in parallel on multiple planets!
Technologies and recipes have been altered slightly so that it is possible to start on all four inner planets without any assistance.
Features and Changes
- Adds a technology to discover Nauvis as you do the other planets.
- Adds an acid vent generator to produce a small amount of geothermal power directly from the acid vents on Vulcanus to enable power generation without a water source.
- Modifies the tech tree to remove the normal oil pathway and instead adds the chemical plant and refinery to the fluid handling technology, allowing Vulcanus, Fulgora, and Gleba starts without needing to mine crude oil with a pumpjack.
- Adds a very low chance for Vulcanus trees to drop wood so you can craft some small electric poles prior to researching Energy Distribution 2.
- Adds various new low probability drops from several of the larger Fulgoran ruins for substations, medium poles, and accumulators.
- Adds a very low chance for Fulgoran Lighting Attractors to drop Lightning Rods so you can collect electricity, albeit by sacrificing some of your protection from the lightning storm.
Future Plans
There are still some things I want to add, some things that need fixing or tweaking, potential balance changes to be made, etc.
The setting for adjusting the mining speed is not implemented yet, and there are probably a few crashes I haven't noticed waiting to happen.
