The Hexalith planet mod doesn't spawn mineable scrap on the surface. I'm a hardcore factorio combat enjoyer but importing the tens of millions of raw resources needed to actually fight all those biters does not sound fun. There is kind of no reason to play Hexalith instead of Nekohaven. So I made a mod for it.
This patches the Hexalith world gen to spawn fulgora scrap. It also, by default, changes the magnetic field from 90% to 99% (to enable fulgora buildings to be built), but you can set this value to whatever you like in the settings. There will not be electro-magnetic storms on Hexalith regardless of what you set this value to.
It also gives you the option to have holmium ore deposits spawn on the surface of Hexalith. This feature is disabled by default and if you want to use it you will need to enable it before Hexalith surface is generated for the first time in your save. You can probably also use the ctrl+alt+e menu to regenerate it if you forgot to do that but I didn't test it to see what happens.
Keep in mind that even though there will be scrap on the surface, there still isn't coal and there still isn't oil. I'm not really sure how you would get rocket fuel on Hexalith without importing it and I think rocket fuel might be one of those things you can't import via rocket. Maybe I'll make a research that lets you extract oil from plastic that's disabled by default. Perhaps it can be the player's responsibility to figure out what mods are needed to make this happen. For example I'm making a planet mod called Cineris that lets you make oil by hydrogenating co2 (but it's not really intended to go with this mod) that I could use. Or maybe it turns out importing barrels of heavy oil is balanced and not that bad. Suggestions welcome.
