Mining a chest allows players to pick it up with all the items inside and carry it in their inventory. Also supports vehicles, tanks, and accumulators.
Unfortunately the new update of SE blanket bans all item-with-inventory, so it looks like I'll have to flip the script and mark Space Exploration incompatible.
Note: I am just patching an every space exploration version to add packing tape mod to the ignoring items list. And it works for me now :)

And now, the blanket ban on item-with-inventory is now completely removed. Instead, you just are no longer able to transport packaged chests between surfaces via cargo rocket, space capsule and space ship. This is as of 0.6.91 or later.
