Hello again.
I come back again to adress another good topic and perhaps there is something we can do to improve the design.

What i mean would be if Ore-Ganizer can cache the miners inside a blueprint and place them as they are and not make us change miners 2-3 times to place all of them.

An interesting idea but one I am not sure works for everyone. If the resource is stored in the blueprint, then everyone would need to make a blueprint for each resource... and for mods like Bob's Ores, that would not be very appealing.

I suppose a special blueprint tool could be made, one for "mixed resources" that would store the resource.

Ideea is , i build a blueprint and Ore-Ganizer to know what resource was saved then to put down when i build the blueprint.
Ppl with bob ore wont be able to use the the saved cache...i believe.
Saves us a ton of time when building with blueprints, because we dont have to switch so much resources.
Isnt it some code to ignore this script that you will make if Bob Ores is active ?

Factorissimo 3 saves blueprints as they are inside the factory no matter what i put inside , it saved my copper and iron factory in there; maybe you can check their code and adapt it for open map.

Any news related to our resource saving during a blueprint placement ? so that copper miners and iron miners and pumpjacks would be blaced as they were inside the blueprint.

This is a significant change. The code involved will likely be reasonably difficult, but the real issue for me is the responsibility for user's blueprints. Once my code modifies a blueprint, I am on the hook to maintain it through any future coding changes. I am not saying that I will not add it, but I am in no rush.

Version 0.7.0 has been uploaded, adding the startup setting: Blueprint resources (default: disabled)

Everything saves now as a blueprint miners and pumpjacks.

Hi there mate, good job on the mod so far we are good .. now let me ask you something : saving blueprint works like a charm , but now it saves materials even if i cut or copy it ... or that is somehow part of a blueprint ?

I had an iron miner near and i said i copy this miner , ive changed the resource to copper and when i put it down it was iron :D

You want copy and paste behavior to be different than blueprinting? Copy and paste should always be drill only, blueprints to follow the startup setting?

Let me explain:
1- Blueprints you made them however you want and you want them to remain saved like that when you place them down. <- Already done***
2- Copy or cut an miner i find it little ackward that it copies the miner as it is; for instance i have near me an iron miner placed down , now i will need a copper miner elsewere, i sellect the copper mineral in the menu but when i copy the iron miner that it is down there i want it to become a copper miner when i place it down.
Blueprints saved as they are , copy and cut to use resource check to see what resource i have sellected .
Dont get me wrong i like the miners as they are and IF IT IS POSSIBLE you can leave them as it is an lets use a Ctrl+Shift+C for copy with resource behaviour. or Cut with Ctrl+Shift+X

I will change it so that copy and paste will only copy the mining drill.

Wow that was fast please read the whole thing please.
Ctrl+C (Copy) = Ctrl+Shift+C for copy with minerals.
Ctrl+X (Cut) = Ctrl+Shift+X for cut with minerals.

Only if it is possible.

And if i can set this keys to anything i want in the setting MENU you are a LIVING GOD. for instance to be able to sellect copy with mouse button 4 :D

So ideally, a runtime option (with keybindings) to include or exclude the resource for copy/cut/blueprint?
And there is pipette (Q) use. That does not raise the same event, I will need to look into that more, not sure it can be controlled.

no need to do nothing .... now i remembered when YOU said PIPETTE ... the pipette copies and takes into consideration the resource selected ...
Damn man i am so noob ... sorry for all this mambo jambo but i think it is good as it is ...

i got copy to copy the items as it is saved then i got the Q option to copy it as a new entity wich takes into consideration resource sellected.
Pipette word saves the day and a lot of coding.

One thing about Pipette ...i do not know if it is possible.
Now you know when you press Q on a resource automatically a miner comes in cursor, Could it be possible that the miner in case here to be the same as the mepal pipette was used on ?

So if i press Q on a Iron node the miner would me iron miner already sellected, on copper would be copper , on uranium would be uranium and so on.

ONLY IF possible, QOL coolness :D

Version 0.7.1 has been uploaded, pipette (Q) on a resource will change the selected resource and switch the mining drill to a Resource mining drill.
