From the description i understood that this mod simply spawns resources out of nowhere?

Could a consumption mode be added? (with inverted productivity) So it acts like a resource dump? That would be a great, more organic and balanced alternative for players who want to mine out patches for the space, or because they don't like building over resources but don't wan't to build a million chests somewhere or install warehouse mods

Yes, it does both, creates and destroys resources. If you place a drill on existing resources and then pickup the drill, it will remove the resources.

Are you asking for a drill that mines ore as a normal drill, but it is to destroy the ore?

Sorry for the delay

Are you asking for a drill that mines ore as a normal drill, but it is to destroy the ore?

I was thinking about a reverse drill actually, if you insert resources into it it puts then back on the ground like a normal resource patch, so it becomes like a dumping zone we can see in real world mines, with a conveyor belt leading to a huge pile of ore, the reverse drill would be an abstraction of such a setup in-game, and like i said for people who want an organic way to move resources without a million chests or having to install warehouse mods

Ah, now I understand what you want. Unfortunately, while it is possible, with my limited knowledge, what I would create would be too cpu intensive. Since there is no entity type that creates resources, it would need to be fully scripted.

Edit: You might try asking in the Factorio discord, maybe someone there has some better ideas.
