Multiplayer Multi-Team Support (MTS)

MTS: one Factorio multiplayer server, many teams, each its own force on its own surface, holding a private copy of the same map. Same seed, separate research, zero resource conflicts. Race a friend from an identical spawn, or put them on your team: co-op or head-to-head, with per-player follow cams. In the spirit of OARC's separate spawns.

i Team-To-Team Interactions + Biter Customization

I think it would be pretty cool if you could do trading with other players, or some kind of interaction between teams. Just something that makes having separate teams a bit interesting. Research cooperatives or something. Sorry if I'm not really giving concrete suggestions but I think more team-to-team interactions would be cool would be interesting.

Lastly, is there any way you can make it so each team can toggle biters on their own worlds when making a team? Me and my friends have this one world with MTS and some of us like having biters on while some of us just enjoy the factory building. Would this feature be possible?

Just come up with something to add on top of the biters toggle, maybe you could add a feature that allows you to set a grace period before biters actively attack if you toggle the biters option.

I will look into it.

Hello, in the latest version I have implemented a non-competitive mode.

- Non-competitive mode (new admin flag, off by default) for private servers with
mixed-skill groups: admins can give individual teams easier settings via per-team
modifiers — first modifier: peaceful biters (applied to all of that team's surfaces).
Every change is announced to everyone. A team that ever receives a modifier is
permanently marked non-competitive (badge in the admin panel and /mts-modifiers; the
mark clears only on disband), and the mode cannot be turned off while any marked team
exists — so a briefly-handicapped team can't slip back into a "competitive" game.
Record announcements are tagged while the mode is on. Anyone can check every team's
  settings with /mts-modifiers.

Non-competitive mode is an admin feature which is off by default. You will have to look in the Admin GUI to find it.
