Two things in 1.0.10:

1. prototypes/patches/tech.lua enables every recipe in the "recycling" category from the start (for the early steam recycler) and switches only scrap-recycling back off. Some recycling recipes can also be hand-crafted and are normally unlocked by a technology, like Cerys's nuclear scrap recycling and Cubium's destabilized cube matter. With this patch they sit in the hand-crafting menu from the start of the game. Skipping recipes that also have the "hand-crafting" category and are unlocked by a technology would keep them behind their technologies.

2. The pristine heavy oil filter (prototypes/entity/environment.lua, around line 629) has a coal result with amount_min = 5 and amount_max = 1 (line 644); the plain filter has 1 to 5. No technology unlocks the recipe either. The plain filter comes with water-advanced; pristine-servofish, which unlocks the pristine servofish and the other pristine filter, would fit.
