Eneas


Above the clouds of Nauvis lies the ancient moon Eneas. Not only does it hold secrets concerning the history of this star system, it is also home to an enigmatic machine called unit-05. Eneas does not modify vanilla content, only adds new items and recipes. It also contains improvements to early game progression and a database for factorio lore enthusiasts. >Multiplayer is unstable at the moment. There are desync issues.

  Balance:
    - Added plastic as a product of the 2nd scrap ancient frame recipe. This should make LDS and therefore rocket part crafting more accessbile
    - Increased the base amount of oil barrels granted by the supply techs on Eneas. This should also help with rockets
    - Changed the "It lurks in the water" tech to a trigger. It now unlocks automatically at 100 ambition science packs crafted.

    - Added option for the spiderbots mod to supply early friends instead of the construction drones mod 
    - Added rough support for alternate start mods. All this does is lock artifact tech behind planet-discovery-nauvis if that tech exists. Support for starting on Eneas itself is planned in the future
    - Added new icons for unit-05 to display more emotional states in the dialogue window. Planned more variety in the transmission and actual entity sprite aswell.

    - Added animations for the biocomputer aswell as the lesser AI. Now the only remaining building without proper animation is the artifact drill on Eneas.
  Balancing:
    - Reverted the changes to the clarifier from patch 0.6.5, as there is a proper way to make recipe outputs unaffected by inherent productivity. Many thanks to TheBiky88 for the idea.

  General:
    - The artifact vaults now hold an almost infinite amount of resources. They are not supposed to run out at all. 
  Balancing:
    - Reworked the clarifier as the inherent productivity bonus it possesses messes with catalyst type recipes it uses. In exchange of the +50% prod bonus it now works 50% faster inherently
    - Servofish now recycle into themselves to avoid getting overclock units too early
  Fixes:
    - Fixed missing "allowed_effects" on the lesser Ai definition which caused a conflict with the mod "allowed modules". Fix by DaCyclops
    - Fixed the lesser Ai missing its base model (Animation is still missing as I am still working on that)

    - Added a description for the vent on Eneas.
    - Added a Informatron entry for the pollution event on Eneas, hopefully making the mechanic less difficult to understand.
    - Removed construction drones as a hard dependency since it causes compat problems. Would still recommend the mod if it does not break your load order.
    - Changed the tech for the clarifier to be triggered by mining a servofish instead of requiring ambition science packs. This should make getting started on Eneas more intuitive.
  Balancing:
    - Adjusted the values for the pollution event on Eneas. It should now feel more forgiving especially if you decide to tackle Eneas before the space age planets

  General:
    - Added "Mimi's graphics part 2" as a dependency. Moving all graphical elements to this mod to reduce file size and make hotfixing easier.
    - Added missing locale for various entities, items and recipes
    - Added 2 new memory entries related to Eneas.
    - Reworked some of the existing memory entries to make a certain character appear more reasonable.
    - Changed how memory entries are displayed. The dialogue will no longer be displayed in full in the chat, instead unit-05 will only comment on the memories contents. The full memory dialogue can still be found in the connected Informatron page.  
    - Removed some deprecated files and images to reduce filesize.
    - Removed unnecessary table in the .message file, as its content are now stored in the locale files
    - Removed the hard dependency on the ["RPGsystem"] mod by mferrari. Still a cool mod, still being integrated, just optional now.

    - ancient core stack size increased to match the increase to artifacts in 0.4.0 (15 → 20)
    - removed the recipes that enable the player to produce artifacts on the vanilla space age planets. These were placeholders for more interesting mechanics that never made it into the mod, now artifacts will need to be imported to these planets from either nauvis or eneas.
    - adjusted the rocket capacities for Eneas related items to be more intentional
  Fixes:
    - Servofilters now hold 3x longer compared to their regular counterpart. Before there was no point in using them.
    - The technologies and recipes for a certain spidertron are now properly removed with eneas present since there is another way to obtain them.
