Thanks for the report, and I was able to duplicate what you are describing. However, it is a little more complex than that. The loaders that are doing split-lane filtering are distinctly different than the ones that do not. So, I'm assuming you are copying a loader that is doing split lane and pasting on one that is not. The same happens the other way around too. If you copy a non-split-lane onto a split-lane it will only take the first 2 filters and put one on each side.
However, if you copy a split-lane loader and paste it onto one that is already switched to a split-lane, it will work the way you expect it to.
All this to say that, yeah that's not the behavior I want either. I'll work on a fix, but it will be a bit more complex and take a little more time. A workaround is to first switch the loader you are going to paste onto to a split-lane or non-split-lane as needed, then paste to it.
