Fluid recycler

Stranded on an abandoned island with nothing but batteries, the engineers ask themselves how they could possibly get the sulfuric acid needed to finish their rocket. One of them has an epiphany; they take batteries and start squeezing.

Content

Adds a fluid recycler as equivalent to Fulgoras solid recycler. Items with fluid ingredients can be recycler back into their fluid ingredients at 25% efficiency.

Currently features

This mod creates a fluid recycling recipe for every item that can be crafted with fluid and adds it to the fluid recycler. Just like the regular recylcer, the fluid recycler automatically picks a recipe when any item is inserted. Items that can't be recycled into fluids are never inserted.

The fluid recycler can be unlocked on Fulgora.

Fun recipes include things like squeezing water out of explosives, squeezing acid out of processing units and batteries, squeezing ammonia out of ice platform as well as many more dynamically generated recipes!

Mod compat

Plasma industries bulk recipes are excluded so as not to give the player plasma from recycling items made in bulk recipes.

Lots of compat options planned. Will eventually have a "balanced" mode using vanilla recipes and curated modded recipes, as well as a "go ham" mode.

More mod compat coming soon for fans of Pelagos, Ribbonia and many more.

If you have an idea for a mod compat that's fun and balanced please let me know!

Licensing

Code is MIT. The graphics are NOT.

This mod uses the chemical stager by the fantastic artist Hurricane. Lightly recoloured and edited by me.

Coming up next

Github, discord, more pictures, custom locales.

Special thanks to anyone testing this mod early! In heavily modded files, lots of things will be unbalanced and some errors might occur. Please make reports so I can fix them!
