With Space Age, the Flying Gunship requires Fulgoran Science to research and Fulgoran resources to build. Makes sense, no argument there. However, Fulgora is also where we get Tesla weapons, and I thought it would be cool to include a Tesla turret in the Gunship. Personally, I'd replace the machinegun with a Tesla Gun, but adding a third weapon (Machinegun/Tesla/Rockets) wouldn't go amiss, either. Obviously, contingent on the Space Age mod being active. Is that something you'd be interested in?
