Allowed Values

The allowed values for the spidertron weapon setting is actually more extensive than written in the mod description or the in-game tooltips.
The true list of currently allowed values has multiple options for each weapon type:

• Submachine Gun
  smg, submachine, machine, pewpew
• Shotgun
  shotgun, shot, shotty, blam
• Flamethrower
  flamethrower, flamer, flames, fire
• Tank Cannon
  tank, cannon, snouz
• Rocket Launcher
  rocket, launcher, boom
• Teslagun (space age only)
  tesla, lightning, electric, zap, zappy
• Railgun (space age only)
  railgun, rail, line, death

 
If you can think of another interesting nickname for any of the various weapon types, I am open to ideas.
The functionality remains the same, regardless of which "codename" is used.
