g [Question/Answered] How does it work

Hi. As I understood - I won't need 2 chests to supply reactors? How request will be added - manually or automatically it will apear (to supply or to take out empty one) will construction drones do it solo in their construction area of roboports?

If so, it will allow us to construct 3x3 nuclears squares and more - so there will be x4 bonus power for central one, x3 for sides and x2 for corners..

The end goal of this mod is precisely to allow 3x3 nuclear reactor setups.

When you place a logistic reactor (recipe requires 1 reactor + 1 requestor chest + 1 provider chest), it should automatically place a requester and provider chest within the same space as itself (in the lower corners) with a default request set to whatever nuclear fuel is allowed inside of it, with amount of 0.

This request is labeled with an image of the reactor that it's connected to, and this label is shared between all reactor entities of the same type; so when you modify that default request, it will automatically apply to every other reactor of the same type (including ones that are newly placed).

This request label is modifiable in-game, if you want to set custom requests for specific reactors, and if a mod adds different sizes of reactors, they each get their own unique default request, due to the unique labels.

When there is valid fuel in the requester, the items will automatically move into the reactor itself (no bots required) and fill up to a certain user-definable amount (I believe it is under the map settings, not the per-player settings). The spent fuel will then automatically be moved from the reactor output slot into the provider chest.

So yes, infinitely tileable reactor setups.
