Krastorio 2 Science Flasks
Miss the classic science flasks? This mod swaps the Krastorio 2 tech cards back to science flasks, in your inventory, on belts, in the crafting menu and in the technology tree.
Purely visual: no recipes, research costs or balance are changed. It is safe to add to or remove from an existing save.
What it does
- Vanilla and Space Age packs (automation, logistic, military, chemical, production, utility, space, metallurgic, electromagnetic, agricultural, cryogenic, promethium) get their original flask icons and names back.
- Krastorio 2's own cards have no vanilla flask, so they get recoloured vanilla flasks:
- Basic science pack: brown
- Matter science pack: teal
- Advanced science pack: yellow
- Singularity science pack: purple
- Technologies, recipes and other mods' icons that reuse a card (recycling, cooling, preserved items and so on) show the flask too.

Planet mods
Some planets switch their science pack to a tech card look when Krastorio 2 Spaced Out is installed. This mod switches them back to the planet's own flask:
- Maraxsis: hydraulic science pack
- Planetaris Arig: compression science pack
- Planetaris Hyarion: polishing and refraction science packs
- Planetaris Tellus: bioengineering and pathological science packs
- Muluna: exploration (interstellar) science pack
Other planets already use flasks or their own art and are left untouched. If a planet you use still shows a card, let me know in the discussion tab.
Left unchanged on purpose
- Blank tech card: it is a crafting ingredient, not a science pack.
- Research data items: they are intermediate products.

Credits
Flask graphics are the vanilla Factorio icons by Wube Software. The K2-only flasks are recoloured versions of them. The planet flasks come from the planet mods themselves.
