Yes. Recipes and progression were adjusted for Factorio 2.0 + Space Age.

Why is this mod standalone instead of requiring Krastorio2?

The goal of this project is to provide the Advanced Tank and related content separately for vanilla/Space Age playthroughs without requiring the full Krastorio2 overhaul.
