Thanks for testing it further and pointing that out.
You’re correct — the current scaling setup is applying a flat bonus instead of a proper percentage-based increase, which causes the vanilla tank shells to eventually outscale the K2 shells by quite a bit.
I’ll be rebalancing the progression between the vanilla tank ammunition and the new K2 shells so the upgrade path feels more natural and doesn’t hurt the overall gameplay balance.
The goal is:
- vanilla shells stay relevant early game,
- K2 shells become a proper upgrade later on,
- and both scale correctly with research tiers.
If you’d like, you can also help test the balancing.
Feel free to tweak the damage values on your side and send me the numbers/settings that feel best during gameplay. That would help a lot with finding a good balance between the vanilla tank shells and the K2 shells without hurting the overall progression.
